It&#8217;s a 5k, 10k, 15k series with each event two weeks apart. I&#8217;m looking forward to it for some motivation to keep my legs in gear and not lose all the fitness gained from marathon training. So I guess I&#8217;ll set out goals for the series&#8230;I&#8217;ll take a handy look at my McMillian Running calculator to see what equivalent performances would be then toss those out the window and make up something faster than I should ever even think about running&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Here goes&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>5k &#8211; McMillan says 18:52 would be equivalent with a 3:03:51 marathon. Let&#8217;s say 18:30 just because I&#8217;m foolhardy and not so bright&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>10k &#8211; McMillan says 39:11. I&#8217;m gonna shoot for 38:45 and be optimistic&#8230;surely the glass is half full.<\/p>\n<p>15k &#8211; McMillan says 1:00:42. I know I&#8217;m gonna go sub 1 hour flat&#8230;it&#8217;s a requirement&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>So there goes&#8230;it&#8217;s been said. We&#8217;ll see how this whole thing goes.
